  1. I really posted this to see if any Wonkvilleins would care to comment on this related |old news|. I agree with Stewart on that case, and think sometimes this shades over from equal treatment to forced agreement. Not for florists, though. The only thing a floral arrangement expresses to me is "these should have been left in the ground."

    1. This is like the ultimate gray-area situation in which we're choosing between not allowing writing on a cake where a straight couple could or forcing a religious couple to write something they feel is wrong. Considering it's literally just about cake icing, and not about a very wide level of rights (like marriage or not allowing people to buy anything at all), I find myself leaning very slightly toward the cake bakers here, but it's awfully hard as I can easily imagine having a cake like that being denied for me. (of course, I'd prefer a cheesecake, but that's just me)
