Not exactly light or easy reading, sorry. This is a story from my yout. Living in a small town roughly 100 miles or so from where Jacob was abducted and being only about 5 years apart, it struck a chord with me. And, since it has yet to be solved, has always stayed with me.
Of course, being a smart-ass teenager who hung out with other smart-ass teenagers, there were times when–after the roll had been called in class and the teacher asked "Is anyone missing?"–one of us smart-asses would answer, "Jacob." Damn kids those days.
I hope they can nail it down. I'm sure the parents would love to be able to put it behind them, too.
