  1. I just watched the actual interview and wondered how anyone could be so clueless. But at the end she reveals her secret: she's a real estate agent.

    1. There's a depressing amount of Drumpf election roadside signs here on This Benighted Peninsula and a downright infuriating number of Confederate battle flags. But, of course, it's Obama that's the problem.

      1. I try to convince myself I'm in a purplish bubble within a mostly empty sea of red. The people here I call friends are libs for the most part, but the actual yard signs and such definitely favor the other guy.

        1. One of the great advantages of living in Baltimore is that I have yet to see a Trump sign and the most recent poll (released today) has Hillary ahead almost 2 to 1.

          1. One of the advantages to living in Oakland is if I go to Berkeley I'm about as far right as Attila the Hun, but if I go to the Central Valley, I'm a bigger commie than Stalin.

          2. My high water mark lately was last fall when I saw a Scott Walker '16 bumper sticker less than 20 miles inland.

          3. Urgh. Why would you want anyone to know?

Now that you mention it, I see a CARSON '16 sticker on a Honda with a "Pray to Jesus" decal sometimes. The woman who's driving looks unbalanced, so I stay far away.

          4. There is some weird shit you see when you head inland here. Couple of super rich fucks with their mansions on the hill had "East Bay Tea Party" billboards on their properties facing the highway. One guy had "Obama- here's your pink slip", I went by the day after election day 2012, but he had it torn down already. I was going to get a pic of me mooning it if it had still been up.

  2. It's amazing how many people say or post "I'm not a racist but . . ." and then say something incredibly racist. Whether its criticizing Colin Kaepernick for free speech (If he doesn't like America what doesn't he leave? If YOU don't like the First Amendment why don't YOU leave?!) or believing cops killing unarmed blacks is OK these racists now feel it's fine to 'tell it like it is'. 'Like it is' being their fear of not living in a white majority country where people of color know their place.

  3. Having spent beaucoup time in Mahoning County — Mrs. Radio's fatherland, I can say without equivocation that racism was never dead there. Further, the steel mill train left that valley in the early 80's. Even further, Youngstown was a mob town. I think 17 government officials, including the sheriff were convicted of corruption in the 90's. And don't forget Jim Traficant (Bad toupé, corrupt, "the people's candidate," hmmm). Trump isn't attracting these people because they think the jobs are coming back, he is attracting the racists and those tolerant of gangsterism, i.e. deplorables. Anyshizzle, as noted above that beatch first and foremost is a real estate agent which explains a lot.
