A friend of mine is involved in training police to recognize the signs of mental and emotional distress and resorting to less than lethal methods. He is himself a victim of a TBI, so he's pretty well versed in what he does. I wish there was time (and $$$) to train them all.
This sucks. From the reports, sounds like he didn't exactly behave in a way for officers not to worry
It just sucks all around. The sister called the police because the man was acting irrationally, then he acts irrationally and loses his life.
