  1. There is zero political will to make this happen by the traitorous Republicans that control the Legislative these days. I absolutely believe that they'd prefer a Russian puppet to losing any of their newly-regained power. They'll never let that go.

    1. Even with the full court press by Dems over the DeVos confirmation, they still effortlessly got her sworn in. With the defection of Manchin on the Sessions nom, it was even easier. If we can't deny 45* even the most controversial of appointments, I just don't see a path forward that doesn't include the destruction of democracy. Putin is only too happy to help.

      Doomed. We are doomed.

  2. Here are two questions that could have been posed to Spicer at his first briefing:

    * Have any past or present Trump associates, inside or outside his administration, been contacted or questioned by the intelligence committees, the FBI, or any other government body investigating the Russian hacking or interactions between Trump's circle and Russia?

    * During the presidential campaign, did Trump or any of his political or business associates have any interactions with Russian officials or Russian intermediaries?

Yo, reporters? We're still interested in hearing answers to those questions, please and thank you…

  3. I watched the Sean Spicer Comedy Hour this morning. His favorite trick to disguise his obvious unsuitability for the job is to call on correspondents for RWNJ outlets that lob him softballs. Then he likes to gaze into the limpid pools of Hallie Jackson's beautiful brown eyes for a while, and gets distracted, as do I. Then he had to call on a few of the opposition forces and they jumped down his throat about Trump criticizing federal judges, which Spicer recharacterizes as in the great tradition of American government. Then he got mad and said he'd answered it eight times.

They asked him about Kellyanne's Ivanka commercial and he said only, "She's been counseled." Haw!
