      1. I was about equidistant between Pahrump and Amargosa. Only got this hot occasionally, but occasionally is too frequently.

  1. OK. So looked in at drifglass and he mentioned the old 'o these times, these customs' whining speech by Cicero. So I looked it up, and whaddayaknow, Punchy-face Cruz had used that speech to address the many, many, horrible things Barack had done. Guess what it would sound like today………….
[WARNING!!!! Photo and video of Ted Cruz, but the transcript will save you. ] https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/20

  2. In the 1965-66 season, Pete Seeger had a teevee show called "Rainbow Quest" that was broadcast from New York on an a Spanish language UHF station.

Among the guests featured on the program's 39 episodes were Johnny Cash, June Carter, Reverend Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson, The Stanley Brothers, Elizabeth Cotten, Patrick Sky, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Judy Collins, Donovan, Richard Fariña and Mimi Fariña, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Mamou Cajun Band, Bernice Johnson Reagon, The Beers Family, Roscoe Holcomb, Sonia Malkine, Cousin Emmy and Shawn Phillips. The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem and Tom Paxton appeared on the first show of the series on short notice because Seeger felt ill, as he explained on camera.

Some or maybe all the shows are on Youtube.
