  1. This is the first article on this sad subject that said her husband bought the "medication" for her. Nobody says what that "medication" is, and I admit to not knowing what options are out there for us after already contracting the flu. So anyway, she got the medication and died in spite of it. Maybe too late? Or not effective? I dunno…

    She's married, so maybe she's covered by hubby's plan. If not…fuck.

  3. I'm guessing the prescribed medicine was Tamiflu. Which has little, if any efficacy. Really, it's just another Big Pharma scam. This was a bad outcome, a tragedy and probably no one to blame.

  4. That's a good point. I've got an unusual metabolism that renders me immune to poison ivy/oak and also if I have a fever, acetaminophen will make my fever go *up*, so yeah what could the pharmacy give her that would have helped? Seems a trip to the ER and fast was her only option. Remember how fast Jim Henson died?
