Headed out to a Biergarten for the first time in 1.5 years.
Librarians are headed out for a West Coast trip to dodge fires and heat stroke, so we're gonna have a few.
Thanks for that. We set a record today for hottest June day since thermometers arrived. Looks like will set a new one tomorrow and then again on Monday.
A friend in Eugene says it's supposed to be their hottest day ever today.
104 in the shade in Maple Valley for a grad party. Over 100 here in the CD. Highest driving back 107. So springtime Temps for AZ & parts of CA.
Tied all-time record official hottest day here at 103. Also too first time we've broken 100 two days in a row. Forecasters predict we'll crush the all-time hottest tomorrow. Sigh…
106 according to my in/out thermometer. I think the "official' high will eclipse that.
How's the knee?
It's doing OK, but it still doesn't feel like it belongs to me. I've only got two therapy sessions left, so I expect it to be 100% by Friday.
Right.

Boston hit 97 degrees on Monday, tying 1901 and 1991 for the hottest June 28 in recent recorded history. The “feels like” heat index was hovering around an oppressive 105 degrees.
The dangerous heat will once again be on tap for most of southern New England on Tuesday, with heat indices in the 100s.

I used to give the cops access to a 40 ft container at my jobsite for fireworks storage. They'd bust people crossing the border from Nevada into California with a vanload of the good stuff. They'd escort them to my place to unload them, write them a citation and send them on their way. Once the 'splody stuff was no longer necessary for evidence, we were tasked with "disposal". Very much fun.
I'll pay off my truck with the proceeds and have some money left over to put toward an electric car. I'm thinking a Mini. Lousy range, but for going to town and back, it'll be fine.
I have to remind myself that cars depreciate. I'm getting a very fair price for it, but it's less than half what I have invested in it. It's been a blast owning it. I won't miss it much, because it sits in the garage most of the time.
Oops forgot that.
I guess I'll have to go back home next week to post and keep the validation on that computer

Regards the heat we just hit 100 here. They said 96, those dang opium eaters we have for weather forecasters..
Also, too, it is 68F at the summit of Mt Rainier, some 14,411 above the rising sea-level..
We didn't beat you by much down here. Difference being, we're used to it. Sorry 'bout that.

That insanity will still be exported to other battleground states, regardless of the cost.
It's OK, the Roberts court made voting a thing of the past anyway.
Good point.
We lucked out, only 108 for an all time record and I5 buckled closing half the NB lanes. We stayed under 110! Huzzah!
Still not too late to die from the heat, though!
