  1. Yeah, I ran into the same problem at our last Esoteric Order of Dagon service up at Innsmouth. The authorities made us let all those children loose. Still alive, even. Such a waste.

    Religious discrimination is an ugly thing.

  2. Many, but not all, abused children grow up to be child abusers. It's the great cycle of life, and government should just stay out of it.

    1. Exactly why I chose never to have children. Terrible thing for a 7 year old kid to have to decide, but my mind was made up, and I stuck to it.

      1. Wow. I was going to say I didn't have children because I was afraid they'd turn out like me, but that doesn't seem very funny now.

          1. I remember being schooled by a commenter here, probably you, to the effect that not all abused children grow up to abuse their children as I had been taught in Soc 101. That's why I qualified the original comment that way.
