Two dead children per week because parents don't lock up their gunz? Sorry, that's just the price you have to pay—well, those kids and anyone who loved them have to pay—for freedom in US America.
[Stanford law prof Robert] Weisberg thinks that’s because we have trouble understanding negligence when it comes to guns. “There’s nothing antisocial per se about the background fact of keeping kids in a car,” he points out; the problem comes about when the parent forgets the kid is there. Similarly, many Americans just don’t think of parents who leave guns lying around as negligent because, as with cars, “there is never any abstract risk with having guns in the house, nothing the least antisocial about it. Storing a gun is not only normal life—it’s better than normal life if we see it as sacred or a form of home defense.”
It's so true! When those jackbooted thugs or home invaders come for you, you can't be bothered to run to the gun cabinet, find the key, and get out your assault rifle! You need it right there next to you on the nightstand. If little Hunter or Cody find it….well, you know what ¡Jeb! said: stuff happens.
They're not just limited to Michigan…

Just like the founding fathers wanted!
