Seems like this is the beginnings of that big storm system heading up my way. Expecting a few inches of rain and winds to maybe 50 mph from it here, with a couple of inches of snow on the back end. Expecting the low to go right overhead so I might get some impressive pressure readings tomorrow night. Possibly down into the 980s.
Okay, so at Eschaton, somebody linked to Aoife O"Donovan doing Joni"s "You Turn me On, I'm a radio." YT links to Aoife doing "Lakes of Pontchartrain" , and then to a guy named Paul Brady …..who taught Dylan the song……… .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5_5WMH8qMQ, then …………..
Today in hilarious long-range model runs: 12z GFS has us getting 3 inches of snow in the next two weeks. 18z GFS has us getting 23 inches. I'm not sure I'm buying a perfect low giving us a blizzard in early March this year tbh.
Gnarly.

Oh wow, that looks nasty. Hope things don't end up getting too damaged down there.
Yikes. The Wonkebago is (or at least was) headed straight for that shit. I can't imagine driving an RV in winds over 20 mph.
Edit: It looks like the drinky thingy started about an hour ago. Hopefully, they made it safely.
COOL!
Triple waterspouts
Hat trick.
