The irony is that UT officials who approved this wording don't even realize how well it fits into the plaintiffs' contention that the university failed to take allegations of sex crimes committed by athletes seriously in the first place…
Maybe they didn't like the scare-quotes.

Hey, they settled out of court with no liability implied or accepted. They wouldn't do that if there was any actual merit in the accusations. ;p
