An electric Beetle would be very cool. I remember renting Mexican Beetles and being impressed with the power output compared to the American versions, although I suspect they were gross polluters by today's standards. Reply
This was in the 80's; it was the real thing, clunky shifter and all. Can't remember when they stopped making in Mexico… The "new" Beetle is a Golf in a muu-muu. Reply
