    1. For serious, grown-up reasons, I hope she (or Bernie) wins, (and takes lower races with them) and it scares me to think what might happen if dems don't GOTV, etc.

BUT: for juvenile, id-satisfying reasons I LOVE the thought that it might be a landslide and that the Republicans's journey from here to election day will be one clown show after another.

      1. I caucused for Bernie 'cause I felt Hillary needed some push-back from the left, but not desertion. Next January this grumpy olde white man wants to shed a tear or three, like I did in 2009, when the first woman takes the Presidential oath of office.

        1. Me too! I'm not voting for her because of her lady parts, but damn if it isn't awesome that a female as smart and capable as this badass candidate gets there. *sniffle*

And for a while I did the same thing – helping Team Bernie so that Hills would move left. I didn't donate $27, but I did make a donation. I do think it's done some good.

Interesting how the Democratic candidates mostly make each other rise to their best selves (MOSTLY!!!), while the Repubs, well…

The word "downticket" might have been a better choice than "lower"…

    1. "The evidence suggests that, far from God wanting us to vote for Ted Cruz, he’s cast some kind of Oedipal curse on the Republicans. Maybe it’s because they invaded the wrong country and broke the whole region featured so prominently in the Bible."
