So first thing to mention: A third of Democratic voters on WV said that Trump was their preferred choice. Typically conservative voters will vote for Sanders because they don't like Clinton, so that's really good news for him. He'll need to get like 82% in WV to be on pace to come back and he probably won't hit that, but I could see 65% or so.
Edit: 39% of Sanders voters and 9% of Hillary voters would pick Trump over the candidate they voted for. Can we make fun of this state now?
Well it seems to have helped the outsider candidates this year…
We have open primaries here and our elections are civilized and comparatively informative. Which is probably precisely why most red states don't want open primaries. They want voters to vote based on primal emotions.
I hate you for saying that.
Also from exit polls: A possible large vote for "other". Maybe a local guy could take a delegate here.
Rumor has it his McCaucus buddies in the Senate changed the lock on the men's room door & Teddy now has to use the public transgendered john in the cafeteria — ewwwwwww!
Awesome. That would be so satisfying if it were true. The Senate and House have special members-only elevators, not even staff can ride them. Too bad they're not key-operated.
It would be fun to have Cruz to still poke fun of, and therefore would be nice if he won tonight. But honestly I've realized I'm sick of looking at his face – lately I hold my hand up to my screen to block it whenever his face pops up.
OK I'm off to walk my dog and then sign into my Tuesday night class. Have fun and please make this evening's election results more interesting that they probably are in real life. I am counting on you all.

Do Dems in WV really count as Dems? Kim Davis in Kentucky was a Democrat. I think they're honorary Republicans.
Well, sure, but more likely a lot of Republicans crossed over in an open primary to mess with our side.
I didn't realize WV had open primaries. If all states had that we wouldn't have as many extreme candidates.

|Yeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwww!|
I go [ yo yo ] for that kinda music.

That's beautiful.
It's not as much fun without Ted Cruz to make fun of.

|You're dreaming. But dreaming is free|
Official Exit Polls: Sanders 57% – Clinton 43%
Exit poll update: 44% of Sanders voters in WV prefer Trump.
Clinton wins among democratic voters 50-48 / Sanders wins among independent voters 69-22
I'm sure Sanders is carrying commie/socialists by 90+%
Oh, so WV is slow.

Pepperoni roll!
Oh. Don't matter, I'd eat it.
It's the only good thing in WV.
AP finally calls WV for Sanders.
That is the only way to teach, tbh
