94 here at the desert fortress, humidity in the low 20's, which I hope will fall to single digits as it inevitably soars over 100 damn degrees in the next hour or so. I'm working out in the yard, and it hurts!
There have been some bad times in town with the rains historically, waiting for the event that doesn't just tie-up traffic in town, but does serious damage.
This is why you need a hovercraft. I'd lend you mine, but it's full of eels.
I spent the entire 4th digging in clay to fix my water main. I couldn't move yesterday. Today I'm doing what little I can against the relentless encroachment of the silver sage. The vacant parcel next door doesn't have as much sage and tumbleweeds as I do. Can't wait to divest myself of this "investment".

Anyone wants to jam today come over to Ned's in about a half-hour.
The Heat Index now is 102.0 F, down from today's high of 104.0 F, 15 minutes ago. I'm thinking about spending the summer on Tethys.
