You'd think it would be a relatively straightforward matter for the game to employ some safety feature, like to disable itself when it sensed that a phone was traveling over a certain MPH threshold. After all, my phone knows how to count my walking distance but doesn't count miles when I'm driving.
But whatever, you could expect people to act responsibly too, and not play games while driving. As if that's gonna happen.
