You'd think it would be a relatively straightforward matter for the game to employ some safety feature, like to disable itself when it sensed that a phone was traveling over a certain MPH threshold. After all, my phone knows how to count my walking distance but doesn't count miles when I'm driving.

    But whatever, you could expect people to act responsibly too, and not play games while driving. As if that's gonna happen.

  2. In the video, an officer runs after the vehicle, which stops near the end of the block, and the driver gets out of his car.

    The officer asks if everyone is OK, and the driver, whose face is blurred in the clip, shows the police officers his cellphone.

    “That’s what I get for playing this dumb— game,” the man says to the officers.

    Dumb enough to do it and dumb enough to fess up to it unprompted. Seems a little too…

    It's at around this point I'd have the guy blow into a little tube, or see if his fantastic judgment continues when asked "May we search your car?"
