I've asked myself what I would do if, God forbid, the Dems ended up with a lunatic like Lyndon LaRouche on the ticket. I still don't know if I could go far enough to vote for the Republican in that case, as opposed to staying home or just voting the downticket races. So, good for this guy then…
That runs through my brain often. I was never a yellow dog Democrat until the likes of Hastert and Gingrich and DeLay and the Shrub made me one. Oftentimes in Nevada there isn't even a Democrat on the ballot for county offices, so I have voted for some Republicans in the near past, but I can't see myself voting for a Republican for any higher office.
