So, I'm sittings my here watching the Frenchified NFL Network Red Zone coverage, which is just the American feed with French commentary overdubbed over the volume-reduced English, and I'm realizing something: the US announcers talk waaaaaay more than the French guys. And I'm also realizing that much of the extra American chatter is advertising. Even in a highlights show, they manage to slip a lot of "now it's time for this thing sponsored by this product."
