If we lose net neutrality and have to pay for porn, maybe I'll read more books, write more letters, go outdoors once in a while. People can live that way. I even remember it.
We have AT&T, and although they call it U-verse (which can be fiber) it's really just DSL over POTS 2-pair, even though the wiring in this house is relatively new. We get 15 mbs down, which is plenty, but it drops out EVERY DAY some time between 7:30 and 9:30 AM. Plus you're forced to pay $10 a month their box for NAT, when I have better routers on the shelf.
So I started calling every day, and they started sending a service guy out every day, and (knock on wood) for two whole days it hasn't dropped out.
