  1. Drove down to the Valle de Guadalupe yesterday to visit a few wineries. One of them was housed in this structure: <img src="http://archleague.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/VINICOLA-ENCUENTRO-GUADALUPE-03.jpg">Very cool. The whole thing was designed to minimize the impact on the landscape, with all buildings on pilings.   2. They don't let you hike up to the little shacks unless you're a guest. Looks like it. Main building too. All the ironwork on the chairs and tables was done by local craftsmen to the architect's spec. Lots of recycled lumber too. Place is called Encuentro Guadalupe. Wines weren't bad either.
