Hillary Clinton remained on the Watergate Committee until Richard Nixon resigned and the Committee was shut down. Hillary Clinton did not work directly for Jerry Zeifman, and so he had no authority to fire her. There is no evidence she was fired, so this story is false.
As for the other gif, a simple "oh, for fuck's sake" will have to do for a response.
I use an app that forces FB to post items from friends chronologically with minimal filtering, because I don't want FB telling me what I should find interesting or important. I also tend to ignore the trending news because- seriously, it's FB! I can't actually fault FB for trying to curate or "steer" the trending stories though. Contrary to all the mewling from conservatives (and their relentless 24/7 working the refs), it wasn't partisan, it simply ignored the wingnut echochamber. But the ugly truth is, if FB relied on its users to determine content, the trending news would be the dumbest, most shallow and salacious and least important things that happened that day. Think about your average FB user and their likely news habits- a purely reader driven trending news section would be nothing but Kim K, Bieber and the sort of stupidity that would be some future episode of "Ow, my balls!"
Admitting I get most of my news via wonkette sounds daft too, but there ya go…
yeah, but you were on Wkt long before it was cool. (like)
The Wonk sites are my primary sources as well. It's nice not to be alone.

Also, allOverMyFaceBook isn't in the business of news, they're in the business of keeping people on FB, which is even scarier than media pandering…
By 'news' do they mean sources such as the NY Times and Washington Post or those 'like and share" bullshit like

[For the record, the reason is that she wasn’t fired…It didn’t happen]
[In fact]:
As for the other gif, a simple "oh, for fuck's sake" will have to do for a response.

Fuck yeah.
I use FB for my running club and both the local club and the national campaign for Hillary. Never occurred to me to use it as a news source FFS.
this is the correct answer
