Hey, anyone have good recommendations for a PC laptop weather widget? I am sick of Weatherbug slowing everything else down. I just did Weatherbug's upgrade last night, and this morning everything slowed to a crawl, so I uninstalled it and I'm not putting it back on. I'm trying out the Weather Channel widget and the WUnderground one, but any suggestions would be welcome.
Unfortunately, Microsoft | discontinued Gadget support, | so the Weather Center widget I used is DOA. Stupid hack vulnerabilities. I use | Forecastfox | in the toolbar of the Firefox browser now (also available in the Chrome Store for the Chrome thing). WUnderground is very flexible and accurate and has less ads than The Weather Channel, I think.
I bagged Weatherbug a while ago when it got very kludgy. It's also listed as Adware in most AV programs.

So now I've got four on my desktop, Wunderground, Weather Channel and Weather Now, (I don't see ForecastFox in Chrome extensions and that link above says its only for FF. Do you have a linky to Chrome?)
Honestly I don't know why I am doing this, considering around here we don't actually have any weather.
With all that Weather Forecast Firepower, you should be pretty well fixed. If you want way less precision but more rudeness, there's always | The Fucking Weather | which is exactly what you think it is.
You're probably going to dial in all our towns just to experience the vicarious thrills of all our horrible extreme weather.
(Protip: the WUnderground Wundermap has a Webcam layer, so you can see all the horrible extreme weather too!)

They didn't call it |finishing school | because the ladiez were supposed to go on at get more so-called "education." And hey, you know who was a classmate of Tricia Nixon at the renowned finishing school that called itself "Finch College"?

Still very smart and funny and highly encouraging of environmental activism. He nicely snapped back an asshole College Republican in the audience, which was fun.
He want back upstate and suicided shortly after that. It was a real shock
