  1. Ug. He's a filthy little man. How horrible for all these women, and for those doubtless others that stay silent out of fear.

  2. What gets me is all the tRump supporters who seize on the expression "locker-room talk," as though using the word "pu$$y" were the problem―rather than sexual assault. It shows you that they consider sexual assault a matter of male privilege that isn't even worthy of discussion. (Even IntenseDebate doesn't like the p-word, since it plunged an earlier version of this comment into the moderation cooling bath.)

    It's as if these people (like Ben Carson and Jeff Sessions, among other deplorables) believe that groping any woman you care to is a human right. Well, assuming you're a dude.

    Also too, I was inclined to praise the courage of the women who came forward―there are videos on the Times website―and that made me realize how odd it is that people who are sexually assaulted should be "ashamed" of it or otherwise reluctant to mention it. They didn't do anything wrong, any more than somebody whose house gets broken into did something "wrong." How weird we are about sex!
