"She came and apologized to me several times and offering me skymiles. I kindly refused. This is going higher than her. I don’t want skymiles in exchange for blatant discrimination. Whether this was race, age, gender discrimination, it’s not right. She will not get away with this….and I will still get my skymiles…."
Your reward for being discriminated against by Delta: more travel on Delta! Be sure and watch out for gunz @ ATL: they're legal there!
Yeah. AGon is a professional hitter. Solid single up the middle. Karmic payback for the third base coach sending him earlier in the game for a certain out at home. Great hitter, but man is he a slow runner.
His manager is faster than he is, and his manager also stole a base the honest way- with everybody in the ballpark expecting it and watching him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ-VM4UDq-E
To my limited knowledge there is nothing else in sports like the battle between a pitcher and a batter. It's physical and psychological and emotional all at once. When a little good-field/no-hit guy like that bangs a grand slam, it's wonderful.

I misread that as "Skysmiles" which somehow seems like what Delta was really trying to offer her.
A hospital? What is it?
I mean, I'm a doctor, but what I do causes people to need medical attention, usually. It's the web of life!
"I say he bought the ticket. He knew what he was getting into. I say let him die. "
Windy over on the coast?
A bit. Rain is coming down in sheets. Peak gust here in the hills so far has been 36 mph, probably more at the coast.
[ None of it coming here says NWS. ]
Wind map is calm everywhere but NW.
Anybody watching Cubs'n'Dodgers? Pretty good game.
yes I am
That Cubs reliever would've done better if he'd been a few pounds skinnier.
Good to see African-Americans playing baseball.
As opposed to the first reliever the Dodgers brought in, a plus sized pitcher with a plus fastball.
So, if someone hits balls off the wall a lot in Wrigley, would you call them an Ivy Leaguer?
Really, playing baseball there at night seems like sacrilege to me. Grew up watching boring games on WGN after school. "Sey hey, Ernie!"
Holy guacmole. 2 out grand slam
Followed by another homer, and a double. Gee whiz….
Why, I haven't seen a grand slam with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th in a League Championship series since…| hmm |…
Coupla ex-SD Pads in the lineup: Chase Utley and some other big guy whose name escapes me.
Just checked: Adrian Gonzalez, who just tied the game, dammit.

Baseball is great. It ain't over 'til it's over.
Gonzalez is 34 years old. Geronotoball! And didn't he just steal a base?

Told ya it was a good game.
Very tidy ending. That's the beautiful thing about baseball to me: they know what to do in complex situations.
Maddon over-manages. It's his trademark. Would have been better to have Lester go out for the 7th, he was only at 77 pitches and pitching well.
Cubs win!
