Mother Jones this month has a wonderful piece of investigative journalism about how the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (or "Fun Stuff Bureau" for short) is terribly understaffed and prohibited by law from computerizing the 2,000,000 new firearms records it receives every month. What gets me is that his "suggestion" only drew criticism from the Democrats. The GOPers were all high-fiving and saying, "Whoa, sick burn, dude!"
