Alaska has been described as a foreign country populated by Texans, which is apt. I wish them much success in this endeavor, and if it works, maybe they can show USAmerica how it's done.
The dems only have control because the 5 republicans joined them to caucus, so those five are getting committee chairs. If they hadn't defected, it would be in GOP control.
