Purging the military and intelligence community to be sure they’re 100 percent loyal to you personally is one of the steps on the road to dictatorship, no?
It's hard to remember that I never experienced a time when Sinclair Lewis's It Can't Happen Here was a novel and not a prophecy, if that's what you mean.
Perhaps loyal members of the military could be persuaded to join a special section, distinguished by their personal loyalty to Trump. They'd need armbands, of course, with a distinctive symbol….something like this…
