These people are not only full of hate but they are also mentally ill. It is not normal to feel OK to act out on hate and they should be not only arrested but also given an psychiatric eval. I REALLY wish this would start happening – that people who do this start being, as a normal matter of course, treated as if they are also mentally ill – because who knows – most of them probably DO have some dx that's on the spectrum and that would be a way to address their behavior and also to maybe personally shame them a bit.
