UPDATE: it turns out that the $400m retrofit is so that athletics track meets can still be held (although note sure about field events?). However, West Ham are only paying $25m of those $400m conversion costs….. and yet, there would be no need for the retrofit on that scale if it wasn't for West Ham's tenancy!
