I'm conflicted about this. Bradley Manning was subjected to various indignities nearing torture during his pre-court-martial confinement (stripped naked in a lighted cell, not allowed to sleep for days at a time) and this among other things led to Obama's pardon. I donated money because I thought he (the nominal gender at the time) was getting a terrible deal and needed legal help. He disclosed stuff indiscriminately, much more so than Snowden did, and much of it was needlessly harmful…private diplomatic chit-chat, for instance. A lot of what he revealed needed to be disclosed, particularly the "collateral murder" helicopter gunship video, which is horrifying.
But this photo shoot with a stylist and the near worshipful tone of the accompanying article was a bit much for me.
