Issa barely retained his seat last time. There's a good guy running against him, a used Marine Corps colonel named Doug Applegate which should help in the OC and Pendleton part of CA-49. Issa of course will vote for tRump's tax bill which will punish homeowners.

Broncos used to have a running back named Gerald Wilhite who, before the start of the first game of the season, would do a standing backflip in his full sportsball gear. Just looked him up: 5'-10" 210 lbs. Muscular sort of chap.

I'm going to a "meet the candidate" event tomorrow for the woman we hope will defeat Paul Cook, Marge Doyle. It's a pretty safe republican district, but most folks in this end of it are pretty fed up with Cook.
