Six-year-old Patrick has been having weekly sessions with an occupational therapist for six months to help him develop the necessary strength in his index finger to hold a pencil in the correct, tripod grip.
They tried, I would not be taught. I was removed from public school after 4th grade over that fight. I always wondered who was being punished, them or me? (Me. It was me.)
Pull the plugs from our old Muntz B&W teevee, put them in a paper bag, and ride my bike to the drugstore. Run the tubes through the tester, but I always knew it was gonna be the 6AU6. Time after time. Also and too – stay away from the large capacitors if you don't want to get tased.
That's pretty close to a couple of my experiences- our local pharmacy, 8 blocks away had a tube tester when I was growing up. I never messed much with the tee vee, but repairing an all in one camera back in the early 80s (at the photo studio I worked at) taught me to discharge the flash capacitor before proceeding. I made that mistake *once*. I could feel it in my mouth. I've been blond ever since.
Mistakes were made. The zeal with which they tried to convert me took all the time that should have been spent trying to actually teach me. To this day, I'm barely able to read my own handwriting. When I promoted into a position of some responsibility, I had to sign 10s of documents every day. I couldn't be bothered wasting time being legible, so it actually deteriorated! Just scribbles.

Stay strong, Patrick. Stay strong.
Hmmmm, what are the implications of stunted motor skills for future masturbatory opportunities for these youngsters. ?
I get that digital art is a thing, and I appreciate it, but I'll miss drawings FFS.
As a life-long lefty, I say HEY!
Also, who gave you permission to use my pic in the hed?

"Repair" an iPhone? I thought you upgraded when they malfunctioned?

Meh, she's looking at the fretboard .
Aw, I'm jealous. Mom was left-handed and I tried to be left-handed as well, but it never took. Bummer.
