Lemieux @ LGM had a nice hymn of praise for the financial geniuses who are making businesses more efficient slowly and painfully dismembering an American icon.
Found myself in a kmart yesterday, since it's the only game in town. It wasn't entirely unpleasant. All the naysayers in town are saying it's a dead duck. I don't completely disagree. Same with the Sears franchise outside of town. Oh well, thanks to the genius of Lampert, I can still get all the Craftsman stuff I want at the ACE Hardware store down the block.
Just because you had an idea for your business, found customers, hired capable employees, organized and managed projects, and balanced costs to remain profitable over periods of years doesn't mean you're a Master of Business Administration like, say, George W Bush or Willard "Mitt" Romney.
Can't the Spielzeugführer just order everyone to buy toys?

Guitar center may actually beat those other two

Lampert to staff: "Have we got any brands that are known world-wide for quality and reliability, and which we've heavily advertised for years?"
Staff: "Well, there's Craftsman…"
Lampert: "Sell that son of a bitch off, STAT!"
Didn't they also dump Kenmore?
Dunno. DieHard had a reputation, or at least they advertised it as such. But nobody'd go into a Sears auto center twice without a gun to his head.
Oh, good fucking God…
/FFS
The good part, William, is that, no matter whether our clients make money or lose money, Duke & Duke get the commissions…
And don't forget to kickback some of your #TaxScam to the politicians.
