"John Lennon’s 1964 Rose-Morris Rickenbacker with a fire-glo sunburst finish that he played during The Beatles’ 1964-1965 Christmas shows. He made a gift of the guitar, known as the “Beatle-Backer,” to Starr in 1968. $600,000-$800,000."
I'm not too interested in electric guitars, particularly with the sunburst finish, but that would be a fine piece to just hold in your hands, play an E chord….wow.
Heh. I just picked up a Squier Strat for $50, with swapping parts in mind. Beautiful solid alder body in tobacco burst and a perfect maple neck. New tuners, pups, nut and bridge, should sing.
Guess you can't buy love, but today is Mrs. weej & my 25th 'versary. Hugs sweetie.
A quarter-century. Well done!
Uh, molotov?

I prefer acoustics, too. There are a few iconic electrics that I feel I must have, though, including a Rick 330. Hah. Dream on.
Partzcasters rule.

Because let's face it:the term "acoustic guitar" is a retrnym, only necessary to distinguish actual guitars from electronic pickup holders.
