Turned out it was in the Spam folder, and the spam folder was hidden for that e-mail address. I never noticed before – I rarely use that address.
Anyway, now it looks like I'm in. Thank you both.
You know, gmail for some reason stuck my ESPN Fantasy Hockey League invite directly in the trash — not even spam, flat out deleted it without ever putting it in the inbox! Are Google and ESPN having a spat? Something to keep an eye on, I guess.
Yikes! I'd better check my trash as a general precaution.
Gmail has been acting a little odd overall for about a week, The "send" button is halfway hidden and even when I click on it doesn't always send and I don't realize until later, because it looks like it sends (disappears). Maddening.
