Wow. That image came out HUGE. I uploaded a tiny little headshot.
ETA: Crap, I just tried to adjust the size and I can't figure out how. I added a smaller version but it's still filling up the window. If anyone knows how plz advise.
I like Feingold! I hope he wins. That image was just so big it was weirding me out.
Oh, I'm fine with Feingold, but think of the anti-Hepola attack ads!
We must roll back Citizens United and end this nightmare, for Sarah's sake.
Yeah, that is one new feature introduced in the accidental upgrade. The front page image scaling now makes everything 100%-width, like only the article comments page did before.
My feelings about this are mixed but mostly anti. The old method where pixel size was used let you post an absolute size to balance legibility against height. I never had an issue with the comment page resize since that was only one story and let you see a bigger view on something you showed interest in.
Anyway, I suspect that it will take someone to update the template or CSS around that element — so probably Shy-level stuff.
Maybe give it another week or so, so that any other things people notice can bubble up to awareness, then we can maybe post a post to Shy listing them. I noticed that the "read more" used to say "do comments" and also that the links within posts now just link to the post itself instead of the article. There's probably more. I e-mailed him but he's probably busy. If we wait until we find more then we won't be nickel and dime-ing him.
Good idea to gather things up for a while. I am just chuffed to have teh Wonkville still around — it's tough to prioritize anything when you are constantly being nickel-and-dimed.
BTW, I noticed the comment page link change also, but since saw that the comment page headline now goes to the real article, so all is not lost.
"… the poll’s sample was slightly more Democratic in this week’s survey, but he said that could account for only 2% to 4% of Feingold’s support and wouldn’t explain away his 14-point lead."
I just wanted to mention that this is too late for about 350 Wisconsin GE jobs since the company decided to build a new plant in Canada and close the US one after GOP lege blocked renewal of the ExIm Bank. Decided to go somewhere with more stability and indicated that the decision was final and would not be changing.

It's MECHA-FEINGOLD!
It could be worse, it could be another pic of Limbaugh, but still it's an awful lot of Feingold.
Hey…

That image size was bugging me too much. I Heppolized him.
That's way too mean to Hepola, imo.

Thanks for the insider info!

Has anyone tried SEARCH?
I'm ascared to….
I'm not willing to touch anything unless I know exactly what it does, I don't want to mess up Wonkville.
Do you mean the search box up in the right-hand corner? It seems to work fine. I just put in "poop" and got a lot of hits.
Don't forget to wash.
“People don’t know these guys that well,” [pollster] Franklin said.
Ummmm.

But, back to the story.

That's terrible! I hope the good people of Wisconsin remember that when they go to vote.
I hate to break it to you but there's already poop all over Wonkville.
