  1. Eating bugs is generally not a good idea. And hey whaddya mean, "Californicators"? I thought "Californication" was what happened when the tree-hugging citizens of watery Oregon or Colorado or Washington vote to build more sprawl?

Also too a series on Showtime that started promisingly (the protagonist's angry first novel God Hates Us All is made into a terrible movie named "A Little Thing Called Love") and ended poorly.

  2. Domoic acid is a naturally occurring toxin produced from "some species of the marine diatom Pseudo-nitzschia,"

The diatom was quoted as saying, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger. Chow down, cowards!"

    1. "Whoever eats crabs should see to it that in the process he does not become a crab. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the crab at the bottom of that abyss will gaze back into you."

  3. Jesus, I'm already reducing consumption of meat and poultry due to inhumane conditions in slaughterhouses and chicken processing plants: WTF am I going to eat if fish is off the menu too?
