I have to start figure who I want to start and then flip those choices for my bench. Lacy, Landry, and Benjamin brought home a massive 0.6 pts. Benchers would had 31.2. I'd still have lost, but jeesh, not have been so sad.
I worry about this. He has people at his rallies who want him to touch them to heal their scrofula, and I have a horrible feeling he would get a lot of people who never vote to show up. Add to this the "won't vote for a woman" crowd (or for a socialist if pigs fly and Bernie gets the nod), and I'm not happy.
Good point, but I don't think Trump's alienating anybody who'd have voted for him anyway. Or maybe he is — he may lose the "always Republican but not clinically insane" vote.
I'm with you- I feel like I'm in a live action replay of 1930's Germany and I know how that one ended…
I think there are some that won't vote because they can't stand Trump and hate Clinton. There was an NBC poll recently that showed that 23% of Republicans think of him unfavorably. That compares to 9% for Rubio and 12% for Cruz. That could be a good 10-15% of Republicans that just go "fuck it, I'm staying home."
If he keeps talking he'll just end up losing badly in the general election even if he gets the nomination.

Are you sure you're in the right thread?
bench Trump? Put him on waivers?
Sounds like the GOP's dream to bench him.
Well it's next door, and you mentioned losing badly, so my little fingers just started with the typing.
Well picking things seems like a toss-up more often than not, like who the hell knew who Gary Barnidge was going into the season?
tee hee

The other side to that is how many people can you alienate before you can't shore that up with crazy people who love you?

This combines racism and horribly inaccurate internet spot polls in one neat package!
Yay?
Jesus, should we round up all the Muslins and put them in a camp then nuke it from orbit? Vote yes or no…
