It's different from many other places, though, in that the weather's pretty good most of the time. When you live in so-called "temperate climates" (as I did most of my life) you try and convince yourself that doesn't matter while you're shoveling snow. When you live in southern California, you know it does. A lot.
There's an awful lot of the observatory and the 2nd St tunnel, but still pretty cool.
