This is the new band-aid for sites. Instead of not flooding their pages with all the worst low-rent ads possible (yes, I'm looking at Wonkette here too) and making adblockers vital for everyday browsing (and work, for me) – they try to force you to deactivate the only thing saving your computer from the thing behind their wall.
Leave your wall up. I'll take my clickthroughs elsewhere.
Still not sure about ad-fewer. I have adblock on anyway, so I just chuck a donation every month or so and do some clickies on the sponsored stuff that show. Which seems pretty much the same thing.
Any site that puts up an adblocker wall can FOAD tho.
