Wow, and to think I was impressed to discover how the tonic water in my gin glowed under the black lights in the bars I frequented in the early '70s! BTW I signed up for a basic free JSTOR account and further discovered I could get more access via a UT alumni association membership.
I had direct, switched to dish when I moved. Their anywhere app is actually pretty slick because you can use the app to stream livetv over wifi with your account — I can watch football on my kindle in hd while sitting outside, and the quality is decent. Don't know if dtv has improved their app, but you could check.

I did the test for the Mohu leaf, and they told me that if I buy their very most expensive powerful model, I may pull in exactly one station (and it's PBS, which, as noted, has a terrific app for the Roku that I watch most of their content on). If I want tv live, I need a Dish or a way to stream it. No way is an antenna of any kind working for me. (That said, if you don't have a Roku, get one. I bet the missus would love it.)

I need to get with the program with Dish Anywhere. I'm (stupidly) paying for two identical systems, when I could dump one and save $120/mo.
