It could just as easily be 1898, because of the local pinpoint collapsed matter time distortion wormhole generator machine. But you didn't hear that from me.
58.8 °F, 14% RH. I've taken to slapping moisturizer on my hands and then putting knit gloves on atop that (fingerless, so that I can type, if not as well). That does nothing for the anime-esque nose bleeds, though.
I've tried putting straight water into my rice cooker to use as a ghetto humidifier (because everyone has rice cookers in the ghetto, #WPP), and I can get the humidity in my cave up to that 25% number you're flaunting.
ADDENDUM: Wonkville Recipe Blog Tip! When fixing oatmeal in your rice cooker, don't neglect the salt!
Alt-0151 (leading zero is necessary), and that only works in Windows, you poser!
And some girls like two hyphens at the same time, or back-to-back, etc.
I'm exposed! Don't have a keyboard w/a keypad anymore, so have to keep a stash of Alt-codes in a Notepad file on the desktop.
I do go back to WordPerfect 4.1, dBase III and Lotus 1-2-3 ver 1a or whatever it was, but didn't use "sophisticated" typography in those days because you pretty much couldn't.
First quarter on 2/14… How do we know that pic wasn't taken in 1997? Huh? HUH!?

(And I hate you and your 25% indoor humidity.)
Burn wood. There's so much static here that I expect to burst into St' Elmo's Fire at any minute.

Woah, I got the house RH down to 14 last year, to dry the structure out after a massive water leak. It was Not Fun.
Have you a small humidifier? one of those ultrasonic jobs in the bedroom helps the ol' schnozzola and you can pick one up for about $20.
Agreed, and No Salt = Gluey Mess.
Boil everything you cook and set open bowls of water next to every heat register. Nice thing is yer weather is supposed to warm-up snicker snack.
Also also wik: Alt-248 to get ° on a Windows boxen. Or a DOS boxen, if you're that kind of retro hipster.
Ah, that will come in Handy. Thanks!
Wanna see my config.sys file?
I'll bet you say that to all the bots.
Alt-numlock-151 gives you an m-dash: —. So much more typographically elegant than two hypens: —
Better by alt 189.

You don't wanna know………….
The same Jet Stream fluctuation that's turning us into a frozen hellscape is giving you all your tropical drink/Hawaiian shirt weather, so no.
|Sorry that our shorts weather is turning you into a popsicle.|
'Sokay, this too shall pass. Hopefully.

Odd how so many places on TV look like Korea.

Oh sure, blame it on weather patterns.
I blame the weather patterns on HAARP. And Obama, of course.
Not on the Seattle Aquarium putting the kibosh on [ their annual octopi luv fest? ]
"Hum?" That machine tracks "Hum?"
Yes, it's pretty accurate when things are humming along smoothly, but hummus & crackers really screw up the data.
