You ever play a square neck Blue? I've got a round neck, but keep that in open G, so not so much a load on the neck. Don't keep the action too high so I can include fretted notes as well as slide. I find the action height on Douglas' axe incredible. Almost gives me vertigo.
Noooooooooooo. started with the cheapo round just 'cause they look so cool, but mostly I've stuck with [ guess ] rather than grass or alt, much to the dismay of my friend who's trying to get me to get that different kinda slide sound. I have always liked a lot of that, just am not good enough to jump genres with much proficiency. Only have that one and a cheapo strat for big noise, so either of those gets re-tuned depending……
