My neighborhood, they're pretty good about enforcing the "no fireworks" law. We have a lot of grassy hills to the north where people either watch fireworks from, or get busted trying to light them. We were socked in with a lot of fog from about 7PM last night, so no real trouble here, but our paid fire dept makes regular drives around regardless.

I've had them confiscated before, but never so much as a summons to appear.
Geez, even in my drinking early 20s, I knew how to handle fireworks (Shelwood would add: "that you know of").
Is putting 'splody things on your head a Second Amendment issue?
