“I have patients who’ve had melanomas and [other] skin cancers and they’re still telling me they want to go out for 30 minutes first thing in the morning to get their vitamin D,”
Not that they'd get much UV by greeting that red-orange sunrise to begin with… >.>
If you’re legitimately concerned about how much vitamin D you’re getting, you should know that nutrition experts say it’s difficult to get enough from food alone.
Get enough vitamin D through this one weird trick discovered by a single cephalopod!
I take 2,000 IUs of Vitamin D a day. I guess your levels are supposed to be between 25 and 35 somethings in your blood. When I first got tested last February, my level was 5.

I feel much better now, thanks.
Done. I just got home a little while ago and there was nothing there then.
Thanks.
Ah gotcher vitamin D riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight here.
Get regular checkups, though.. Last year, my D levels were so low it warranted 50000 IU capsules. (It came as a complete surprise..)
Vitamin D didn't do anything to prevent me from getting squamous cell carcinoma!
So sorry to hear it.
You're good now, right? Hopefully..
Eternal vigilance! I go for a check-up every 3 months, every suspicious growth gets biopsied, and moh's when necessary. Facial scars are sexy, right?
Eat well, have courage and be kind.
Well I'm fucked.
Have courage, then. Or be kind. (I fight with that every day).
Can I give you 5000 IOUs for Vitamin D?
Screw you, I'm scared!
