I volunteered at the food bank for about a year, stocking shelves, and sweeping up the place – while I was taking a break from work.
You get a lot of weird stuff that comes as surplus from large food manufacturers – failed product launches too weird for Big-Lots. A lot of soda comes through…My personal favorite, when I could eat sugar, was Mountain Dew Blak (purple flavored soda).
We generally wouldn't throw anything out.
But then came the cases of Jones Soda.
We threw it out, with prejudice.
I like bacon.
I also like seaweed.
I'm not sure that there's a need for bacon flavored anything, perhaps, other than bacon.
I also might be an apostate.
