It was the coolest thing ever. Just found it again in a used record store…what a flashback.
Whatever Elijah Wald may have discovered about the booing at Newport. Levon Helm said that it continued for a while when Dylan then toured with The Band. Maybe they hadn't yet meshed with Dylan , or whatever, but that's why Levon said he left the tour.
