His recollections from the trip: "some guy stole my mouse while I was talking to the department head." Also (paraphrasing) the floor was very unstable, from one room to another you had to step down, but there were no actual steps..
My last job for someone else's company, we were going to do a set up in Mongolia. I figured the lack of infrastructure and ethics would be offset by the dark skies/telescope time and fossil hunting I'd do in my off time.
This only points to the inherent flaws in their culture and ways of governing.
