So just how badly has newly-reelected Gov Brownback damaged his state?

  1. Some of the report’s 10-year comparisons with nearby states (Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma) and the United States are actually a bit more positive. Those instances show that before Brownback — when Kansas was led by Democratic governors Mark Parkinson and, before him, Kathleen Sebelius — Kansas had been headed in the right direction.

It’s only with Brownback in charge in the most recent years, again in general, that the Sunflower State has fallen behind in some crucial categories.

    You don't say…

    /FFS

      1. Cutting taxes /= cutting costs

I don't know why these idiots find it so complicated. Anyway, this experiment seems to be over. Thanks for playing, Kansas, so we don't have to!

  2. Hey zip, if we ever get some singers to do the 'Harperman" protest song, would you consider mixing the tracks?
I smooshed one in the dropbox that should be enough to sing to, as well as individual parts. GP might do a guitar, but being a protest song, instrumental really doesn't have the same impact , I think.
I reckon eventually I'll put a up an invitation post some day . Close and Felonious are already "no's ".

  3. I actually took a peek at dropbox last night for the first time in forever (I usually keep my primary acct logged in) and saw the new stuff. Sure, I'll do whatever…

  4. Cool. But Harper will probably be dead by the time we get it together.
Although a family trio , say……….mom, dad, a daughter…….doing the "Harperman, Harperman, It's time for you to go." refrain would be awesome.
